    薄雲(艦隊これくしょん) 薄雲(艦これ) 薄雲

Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese destroyer Usugumo. Character designed by Shibafu, voiced by Moriyama Yurika.

She has long grey hair in a ponytail (tied with a red ribbon similar to Murakumo's tress ribbons) with swept bangs and long sidelocks as well as light brown eyes.

Her default outfit, the Special-Type uniform, is a serafuku comprising a white shirt, blue sailor collar, blue neckerchief, blue pleated skirt, black socks, and grey rudder footwear. However, since the first official picture of her was without her uniform, some fans drew her with an outfit intermediary or similar to Murakumo's outfit due to being part of DesDiv 12 like Murakumo. She is unusual in the way she was first revealed: in the lead-up for the 2020 Lawson campaign (which would end up being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic), wearing the uniform.

Her rigging is also similar to the other Special-Types: a funnel-mast backpack set, 61 cm triple torpedo tubes on thigh straps, and a 12.7 cm Type A twin gun mount handgun.
