isonami (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese destroyer Isonami. Character design by Shibafu, voiced by Uesaka Sumire.
She has long black hair in a pair of braids plus sidelocks, and black eyes. Her default outfit is the Special-Type's serafuku: a white shirt with blue sailor collar, blue neckerchief, blue pleated skirt, black socks, and grey rudder footwear.
Her rigging is shared with the other Special-Types: her funnel to her back with a 12.7 cm twin gun mount and 61 cm triple torpedo tubes on her thighs.
She has a shy, nervous, and "girly" personality, which makes for an odd pairing with her "younger sister" Uranami, who is reliant upon Isonami despite Isonami being generally far less sure of herself than the rather enthusiastic Uranami.
