shirayuki (kancolle)

白雪 白雪(艦隊これくしょん) 白雪(艦これ)

The personification of the Japanese destroyer Shirayuki in Kantai Collection. Character design by Shibafu, voiced by Uesaka Sumire.

She has medium-length brown hair in short low twintails with parted bangs, and brown eyes. Her default outfit, the Special-Type uniform, is a serafuku comprising a white shirt, blue sailor collar, neckerchief, blue pleated skirt, black socks, and grey rudder footwear.

Her rigging consists of her funnel and foremast carried as a form of backpack, while carrying two 61 cm triple torpedo tubes on thigh straps and a 12.7 twin gun mount Type A as a handgun.

In real life, Shirayuki was part of DesDiv11 and saw action in the battles of Sunda Strait, Midway, and Naval Guadalcanal. She was sunk in the battle of the Bismarck Sea on March 3rd, 1943 near Papua New Guinea. Shikinami rescued her survivors.
