Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese auxiliary JDS Souya (PL-107). Character design by Shibafu, voiced by Tanibe Yumi.

She has long brown hair styled into a single braid, and orange eyes. Her default outfit consists of a brown sailor shirt with a white sailor collar, a short pleated skirt, white pantyhose, and rudder footwear.

She takes on three different variants, corresponding to her different roles throughout her history: Her default survey ship/AGS outfit adds a blue coat over a full brown serafuku with a brown skirt, and uses a Nambu type 14 handgun. Her lighthouse tender/AGL form consists of a white coat over a full brown serafuku with a brown skirt. Her current icebreaker/AGB form consists of an orange hooded jacket over a serafuku composed of a brown shirt and a white skirt.

She is the first Japanese and the third ever museum ship included into the game after Iowa and Intrepid. The historical ship itself is currently docked at the Museum of Maritime Science in Tokyo. This, and the several close calls the historical ship had during WWII, are translated into a maximum luck of 155 (the highest ever in the game). However, shipgirl Souya's other statistics make her practically useless in battle due to the historical ship being an auxiliary vessel (and thus, a non-combatant).
