Joy Boy was born around 900 years ago, and later on he would be known as the first pirate in history. He possesses the Hito Hito no Mi - Model: Nika Devil Fruit which allows him to transform into the Sun God Nika and uses his rubbery properties.He sided with the "Great Kingdom" in a great war against the First Twenty alliance (the precursor of the World Government) and were defeated. After that, he left a treasure of unimaginable value later known as "One Piece" at the island of Laugh Tale, which Gol D. Roger later discovered. Due to his stance against the World Government, he was erased from the history as a part of the forbidden "Void Century".It is said that the arrival of the avatar of Nika is the sign of the world heading towards the turning point. Currently, Monkey D. Luffy is the one who possesses the same Devil Fruit that Joy Boy possesses.
