Avatar 阿凡达

Avatar is a film franchise written, designed, and directed by James Cameron. Spawning out of the 2009 film Avatar, the franchise's title refers to the genetically engineered Na'vi clones that serve as avatars to the minds of remotely located humans, and are used to interact with the natives and environment of Pandora in the first movie. The franchise follows the Na'vi, a humanoid alien species indigenous to Pandora, and Jake Sully, who is the titular Avatar.

Not to be confused with Nickelodeon's Avatar Legends.
