    不思議の国のアリス ふしぎの国のアリス 愛麗絲夢遊奇境 爱丽丝梦游仙境

A book duology by English author Lewis Carroll as well as a large media franchise which resulted from them, tagged here with the name of the first book.

The first book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865), tells the story of a girl named Alice, who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar and anthropomorphic creatures. Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (1871) is a continuation in which Alice goes through the titular looking glass and enters a world that works like a chess board. Once again, Alice finds various peculiar and anthropomorphic creatures and has to deal with their eccentricities.

Between the original story arriving in Japan just as the country was opening up in the late 1800s and the extremely popular Disney adaptation, the story has remained as a permanent part of Japanese literature and fashion.
