Watashi wa Succubus ja Arimasen (Eng: I could never be a succubus!) is a fantasy set ecchi comedy light novel series written by Kohigashi Nora and illustrated by Wasabi. As of 2023 the series is up to 6 volumes.
The series follow the noble girl Lisalinde, known as Liz to her friends, who attends the Forst National Academy in Academy Town. Liz at the start of the series is a second year high schooler having started as a first year, and is a well respected prim and proper lady with top grades. Near the beginning of the school year, the hero's party arrives to attend school while two of their members recovers from battling the demon lord's generals. Upon meeting the hero Cain, Liz is overcome with an extremely strong feeling and to her own shock she asks Cain for his underpants. Thus begins Liz's struggles trying to maintain being a proper lady, while not knowing she's a recovering member of the hero's party that had lost her memories and powers over a year ago, and was known as being an extreme pervert whose powers came from her awakened succubus heritage.
