An NPC in the game Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. An augmented human and AC pilot associated with the Arquebus Corporation, second squad leader of the Vespers, assigned the title V. II (pronounced 'Vee Two' or 'Vesper Two').

As an Armored Core character, there is no in-game characterization of Snail, but often depicted in fanart as a domineering office worker with short hair slicked back and/or a pair of glasses, seemingly inspired by characters with similar personality like Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald and/or Albert Wesker.
