Characteristic for some dog breeds, like Shiba and Akita Inu, coat pattern that consists of white or cream patches on the following areas: the muzzle, the cheeks, inside the ears, the under-jaw, the upper throat, the inner side of the legs, the abdomen up to the base of the tail. The affected areas may vary depending on the dog’s coat (red, sesame, etc.).
