The 21st installment of the long-running Ultra Series, a more darker, cyberpunk-oriented spin-off to Ultraseven.
This show is one of the few installments made exclusively for adults, after Ultraman Nexus. Features a slight redesign to Ultraseven's appearance, referred to as Ultraseven X, which has not been used since outside of stage shows.
It's also the last original Ultraman series to be aired on TBS, before the franchise moved to TV Tokyo in 2009.
