The Good Doctor is a American Medical drama that began airing on ABC in 2017 and produced by actor Daniel Dae Kim and Sony Pictures Television Studios. It is a remake of the 2013 South Korean Medical drama, Good Doctor. The show follows Shaun Murphy, played by Freddie Highmore, a young autistic surgical resident at the fictional San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital, as he proves to his skeptical co-workers that he can be a good doctor despite his autism.
