taguel

A race introduced in Fire Emblem Awakening.

Similar in nature to the manakete (dragon) race, taguel typically inhabit a weaker human-like body and temporarily transform into a giant beast similar to a monster bunny using the power of their beaststones when fighting. Taguels have been persecuted by humans and driven to the brink of extinction, by the time of Awakening the last living taguel is Panne.
