Yamamoto Fumio’s novel “Sugarless Love” is a collection of 10 short stories that depict the stress surrounding modern women and their resilience and rejuvenation. Each story is about women who are dealing with diseases caused by stress that anyone can develop, such as osteoporosis, constipation, alcoholism, sleep disorders, menstrual pain, autonomic dysfunction, and taste disorders.
