stunner

スタナー ストーンコールドスタナー

A wrestling move in which an attacker reaches behind and grabs the head of an opponent, just before the attacker drops to a seated position causing the opponent's jaw to slam into the attacker's shoulder (a seated three-quarter facelock jawbreaker maneuver). The free hand is sometimes used to hold the top of the head.

Made famous by Stone Cold Steve Austin, and named for his Stone Cold Stunner finisher. Though Austin popularized the Stunner, it is actually innovated by ECW wrestler Mikey Whipwreck who called it the Whipper-Snapper. Other users of the Stunner include Total Nonstop Action Wrestling wrestler Willie Mack and WWE wrestlers Kevin Owens and Ember Moon (who uses a a diving corkscrew variant which she calls the Eclipse). All Elite Wrestling wrestler Athena uses a diving corkscrew variant which she calls the O-Face and the Eclipse in WWE.
