staphylococcus aureus (hataraku saibou)
The personification of the Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in the Hataraku Saibou series and its spinoffs.
It is similar to Pneumococcus in base appearance; lanky with sharp claws. Though Staphylococcus is more feminine with a golden color and a hoop skirt made of grape-like nodules, traits that reference the appearance of the real life bacteria.
