Silpheed is the main game in the series, featuring several different equipments, Base Infiltration and Boss Fights.
the Sega CD sequel retains most of the equipment on the first series, but in better used of a CG like pre-rendered animation while retaining the vertical shooter itself.
Silpheed: The Lost Planet; the story starts an invasion of an alien force, which all Silpheed spacecraft must save the galaxy against the occurrence of an unknown Alien lifeforms in the galaxy, this sequel is published by Capcom.
Project Sylpheed; is the successor of the Silpheed games but in the most Ace combat style of gameplay, the Sylpheed fighter is called the Delta Saber, which is similar to the SA-77 Silpheed from its previous appearances.
