silence glaive surprise

An attack used by Sailor Saturn, in conjunction with the Silence Glaive. Its degree of power varies with each installment, but tends to be an exceptionally strong ability capable of destroying her intended target, but will also kill Saturn in the process. In the 90s anime, there is an assumption that Saturn uses this attack against Pharaoh 90 to destroy him at the end of the third season. Officially, it is almost used once against Nehelenia in the fifth season, but Super Sailor Chibi Moon stops the attack, only leaving the castle wrecked. In the manga and Crystal, Saturn unleashes it as a projectile attack, with no danger to herself.
