shoushimin series
A mystery novel series by Yonezawa Honobu (米澤穂信) that was first published in December 2004 by Sougen Suiri Bunko (litetally called Petit Bourgeoisie). There is a Summer 2024 anime adaptation by Lapin Track.
Kobato Jougorou is a boy who wanted to reduce his habit of deducting and over-analyzing everything, Osanai Yuki is a girl who is avoided by others because of her strange tendencies. Both of them desire nothing more than to have a simple and peaceful high school life. This is a story about two people who are aiming and working together to be inconspicuous citizens (petit bourgeois).
