The "Ambiguously Paper-thin Archeologist". Stage 5 boss of Evanescent Existence and later a recurring playable character.
An androgynous scholar who was abducted by Senri Tsurubami along with their siblings Hooaka and Aoji. While originally a normal human, they gained the power to reverse things.
Kuroji sees Enraku Tsubakura as a rival, and the two often bicker. Despite this however, Kuroji sees Tsubakura as firmly above them.
Kuroji aims to build a schoolhouse as a means of making money. To raise money for this and spread their name, they work as a youkai exterminator. They are prone to using immoral methods to reach their goals, such as blackmailing Adagumo no Saragimaru into being their servant, or extorting Fujiwara no Iyozane and Taira no Fumikado for their money.
