An Australian airline originally established as Queensland And Northern Territory Aerial Services in 1920, making it one of the oldest airlines still operating today. Nicknamed "The Flying Kangaroo," Qantas is the flag carrier of Australia and its planes carry the distinctive company logo of a white kangaroo on a red background.
The 1988 film Rain Man gave Qantas a strong worldwide reputation as an airline which has never had a single plane crash, even though that's not entirely true.
