Originally the cover image for a Lord of the Rings self-insert gamebook, drawn by Angus McBride, it is an image of Saruman staring into his palantír (a blue orb here) while his apprentice (you) peers in from the background. In November 2021, it became a Twitter meme popular for redrawing.
