pegasus (constellation)

ペガスス座 飞马座 飛馬座 페가수스자리

Pegasus is a constellation located in the Northern celestial hemisphere. It is named after the winged horse Pegasus in Greek mythology. Its brightest star is Enif.

Pegasus is an easily recognizable constellation. Its four bright stars form a square known as the Great Square of Pegasus, symbolizing the body of the flying horse, usually depicted alongside its head and front legs. The constellation is often depicted together with the constellation of Andromeda due to the shared star (see Danbooru post #4712687 upper right for reference).

Equules (the Foal) is another horse constellation, located right in front of Pegasus's "nose" (Enif).
