Parks and Recreation (also known as Parks and Rec) is a American mockumentary sitcom that aired on NBC for seven seasons from April 9, 2009, to February 24, 2015.

The series focuses on the employees of the Parks and Recreation Department of the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana where the characters try to do their job while dealing with bureaucractic red tape and other problems.
