Ortho Shroud is a member of Twisted Wonderland's Ignihyde and the younger "brother" of Idia. He always works with him and has the character of his older brother. In contrast to him, he is bright, honest, and very curious. He comes from the Island of Woe, and has his robot body maintained by Idia. He can swap between different "gears" for different purposes, and his hair is designed to match his brother's.

When Idia was younger, he carelessly used his unique magic to open the underworld, resulting in his younger brother Ortho's death by a Phantom. In his grief, he created the robotic Ortho to try and revive him, though acknowledges as the end of Book 6 that the "soul" inside of Ortho is not the original Ortho. He tells Ortho that he no longer needs to stay by his side at that point, but Ortho decides to stay as his brother anyways.

At the end of Book 6, he is admitted as a first-year student at Night Raven College, whereupon he joins the Film Research club with Vil Schoenheit.

He is associated with the fire 🔥 and robot 🤖 emojis.
