nitori shuuichi

One of the central characters of Hourou Musuko. She is a teenage transgender girl, who is able to present as female throughout childhood due to her androgynous appearance. However, as puberty begins, she is less able to dress femininely without consequences.

One day, she works up the courage to wear a female uniform to school, which disgusts her classmates and causes them to ridicule her and call her a pervert.

Despite puberty making it increasingly harder for her to present as female, she still knows deep down that she wants to, and eventually confesses to her girlfriend that she wants to transition to female. Anna accepts her, knowing that this is what's right for Shuichi.

She eventually takes on the female name Yuri (or Lily, in English).
