nisshin (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese seaplane tender Nisshin. Character design by Bob, voiced by Miyamoto Yume.
She has very long black hair tied in a high ponytail and hair ties, thick eyebrows, and brown eyes. Her default outfit is a miko attire: with a white suikan over a red kosode and a slitted red hakama, white tabi, and okobo rudder footwear.
Her rigging consists of her real-life hull split in half at her back and containing her 14 cm twin gun mounts, a flight deck apron, and her real-life rangefinder as a hair ornament.
Her antiquated costume and demeanor belies the fact that she is the most advanced and the most powerful seaplane tender in the game, functioning more like a light cruiser with too many planes, having the ability to equip cruiser guns and mini-submarines.
