Milli Vanilli was an European R&B duo composed of Frenchman Fab Morvan and German Rob Pilatus(8 June 1964 or 1965 – 3 April 1998) who gain popularity during 1989-1990 for their hit songs but gain controversy when it was discovered the duo didn't sing their songs but we're lip syncing as the actual singers were hired by their music producer, Frank Farian.

While the duo was mocked for their lip syncing and lying to their fans in the past, today many sympathize with the duo when it was revealed Farian never intended to have Fab and Rob sing their songs and the duo were forced to lie due to signing a binding contract with Farian.
