A dance originating from a YouTube short posted by the hololive DEV_IS VTuber Juufuutei Raden on August 6th, 2024. The short shows an animation by Bakakun of a chibi Raden dancing while she sings a song about maitake mushrooms. It was part of a series of other short videos she made about various types of mushrooms (Danbooru pool #23983).
Thanks to its energetic, earworm lyrics, the short went viral. It accumulated millions of views in just a few months and inspired various memes, parodies, and videos of people performing the dance.
