madougushi dahlia wa utsumukanai
Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai: Kyou kara Jiyuu na Shokunin Raifu (魔導具師ダリヤはうつむかない ～今日から自由な職人ライフ～) is a 2018-to-Present romance isekai light novel series by Amagishi Hisaya and illustrated by Kei. It has been adapted into two manga adaptations and an anime adaptation has been announced in the works. The series has two official English titles with the light novel titled Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools, or simply Dahlia in Bloom, and the second manga titled Magic Artisan Dahlia Wilts No More.
The story follows the female protagonist Dahlia Rossetti, a magical toolmaker who has just recently befallen unfortunate events. Her father, a famous magical toolmaker, just recently passed away and shortly before she was to move in with her fiancée, he informs her he wishes to annul their engagement as he has fallen in love with another woman. As their engagement had been arranged by their deceased fathers' and was not out of romantic feelings, she agrees though still feels betrayed. She had done a lot to conform to her fiancée's wishes of an ideal woman and thought time together would bridge their feelings. Wanting to move on, she vows against future romance and to instead focus on crafting tools; a long cherished dream that she held even from her previous life in Japan. During one of her outings to collect crafting materials she happens to meet an injured knight and their meeting would greatly change her life.
