Recurring antagonist in Final Fantasy XIV and one of the leaers of the Ascians scheming from the shadows to revive Zodiark. One of the more openly malicious of his kind, he manically delights in causing devastation and bringing misfortune upon others.
Like most Ascians, he wears a double-fanged red mask on the upper half of his face, with most of his body concealed by a hooded black robe. He has white hair.
An amicable version of him from his pre-Ascian past is featured in Endwalker as a central character in the Pandæmonium raid storyline, where he becomes entangled in the events surrounding his son Erichthonios and an antagonistic splintered version of himself using his true name Hephaistos.
