kume (touhou)

One of Ibaraki Kasen's pet birds and her secondary means of transport, first seen in her manga Wild and Horned Hermit. She is a massive dapeng (commonly known as a roc in western myth), a giant sea eagle cryptid, able to carry her master's weight and at least one other passenger. Not to be confused with Kanda, Kasen's other pet eagle, who is much more normal in size.
