They were a key target in the Gamergate controversy and several gaming companies have blacklisted their website over posting articles on leaks and insider information on upcoming games. They have also had some in-depth articles revealing major issues within game developers, such as one of the earliest reporting of the major developmental issues that lead up to the release of Bioware's game Anthem.
