Kristoph Gavin's younger brother and Apollo Justice's rival. Klavier is a prosecuting attorney who learned his trade at age 17 in Europe, and is interested in Apollo because he got his famous brother tried for murder.

He has dark skin, blue eyes and medium blonde hair which is usually styled into a twist worn over his shoulder.

He usually wears a single earring a chain necklace featuring his band's logo,, an open purple jacket with long sleeves and lapels, a black shirt with an open popped collar (that he wears in such a way that exposes a bit of his stomach), a set of rings on his fingers (including a thumb ring), a wallet chain and a chain belt, a pair of black pants, and black cross-laced shoes.

When he was seventeen, his hair was short, and he wore sunglasses, a black shirt with buttons, a print and sleeve cuffs, a pair of black pants with pockets and brown lace-up boots.
