Kirin (called Osman outside of Japan) is a middle eastern martial arts expert and professional assassin from the future who becomes the hero of the game.

Kirin is the only known master of a secret, super-human and high energy producing combat style that enables him to destroy enemies (and even machines) with his bare hands and feet.
