Class: Mage Knight

Boss character from Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. Descendant of the Friege bloodline and a commander in Friege's army occupying the lands of Thracia, he possesses minor Thrud blood.

Kempf is a haughty and self-aggrandizing man who belittles and intimidates those below his standing. Despises Reinhardt for the latter's superior proficiency despite possessing no Holy Blood, and takes that frustration out on Reinhardt's sister, Olwen.

Kempf coined the franchise archetype of the cocky enemy general whose defeat grants the player a great deal of satisfaction and catharsis. Furthermore, an old (mis)translation meme revolves around him saying "In America!" without any context.
