keeper of the bell (hilda)

A minor character from the cartoon series Hilda. He's a member of the Trolberg Safety Patrol responsible for sounding the big troll bells installed in Trolberg to alarm the citizens about trolls and to chase off these trolls, as the sound of bells is painful or at the very least unpleasant for them.
According to popular fan theories, he was purportedly the lost father of the main character Hilda, but at least in the cartoon series and its novelizations, that theory was contradicted by the introduction of Anders, father of Hilda and former partner of Johanna (the exact nature of their relationship, i.e. whether they were married or not and how close they were besides having sex at least one time, wasn't revealed as of now).
