kamen rider virgo (game)
A work of Kamen Rider fanfiction that was developed into a RPG scenario using SRC (Simulation RPG Construction), Windows freeware created by Kei that allows user to create strategy role-playing games, by Kishimoto Miyuki. Not to be confused with an antagonist in Kamen Rider Fourze.
Despite being a beta version, it was highly praised for its setting that combined the so-called Shouwa Rider and Heisei Rider settings, and its excellent production and plot. However, due to the excessive time it took for development, the scenario rapidly spun out of control as the number of heroes appearing increased leading to total chaos, and the project died out naturally before its completion when Kishimoto made his professional debut as a scenario writer. Former fans of this game believe that Virgo lives on in the TV series supervised by Kishimoto such as Ben-Tou and Tales of the Abyss to console themselves.
The main character of the story, Honjou Maki was one of 12 altered humans created by the evil organization ERASER, each named for one of the 12 zodiac signs, and after escaping from the organization, battled evil as "Kamen Rider Virgo" (a female Kamen Rider). The secondary protagonist, Shigure Kyousuke was the hero of the sister series "SRC Hero Club," who transforms into "Kamen Rider Otis."
