jaguarman series

ジャガーマンシリーズ ワイト(けものフレンズ) ワイトもそう思います チベスナマン 仲良し三人組(けものフレンズ) わかるマン

Jaguarman (ジャガーマン) is a Kemono Friends otoMAD that was uploaded in 2017, which paired Jaguar's scenes from Episode 2 of the first season with "Devilman no Uta" from the 1970s Devilman anime, sentence-splicing the vocals to fit the visuals. Two more videos were made, following up this otoMAD, using the openings from Shinzou Ningen Casshern and the 1969 Tiger Mask anime respectively. The thumbnails for each of these is Jaguar having her right arm raised.

The videos soon popped off on Niconico, spawning derivative meme/neta videos, successors and so forth, developing into its own minor meme series. The Jaguarman Series explicitly refers to those which have Jaguar as the focal figure (or, more narrowly, the original three otoMADs), while branches such as Wakaruman (fusing Wakari Tetsuya with the Devilman part of the meme) don't have to necessarily have her in such a position.

Characters

  • Jaguar
    • Small-clawed Otter appears as well, due to appearing in the same episode used in the otoMADs.
  • Skull Servant (Yu-Gi-Oh!), otherwise known as Wight (per the Japanese)
    • Due to Skull Servant's sudden appearance in Jaguarman around 00:48, saying "ワイトもそう思います" ("Wight think so too"), leaving a strong impression, he has become a recognizable part of the series. He would be voiced by the preluding lines in Shinzou Ningen Casshern's opening in derivative otoMADs.
  • Tibetan Fox
    • A derivative video, Tibesunaman, would use all three associated themes for the first time in a medley format, in the same order as the series, among other things accredited to it. Tibetan Fox, in turn, is sometimes associated with the series.
  • The Good Friend Trio: Devilman, Casshern, and Tiger Mask
    • Following several developments within the scene, following their themes' association with the original three videos, the three were dubbed the Good Friend Trio and made into their own characters, voiced by their vocals of said themes.
