horse girl (stereotype)
A stereotype/trope of a girl or young woman who passionately loves horses. Traditionally this is a shy, more awkward girl who finds control and a sense of freedom in the world of horseback riding, sometimes even taming a wild horse.
This trope tends to go hand in hand with accurate depictions of horse care and equestrian gear, as well as more emotional imagery such as a girl touching foreheads with a horse.
Not to be confused with the more literal type of horse girl.
