Gundam Cross War is a collectible card game based on the Gundam franchise.

It launched throughout Southeast Asia in October, 2015 and was available for purchase in Japan, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines.

However, in adition to being a standard tabletop competitive card game, players could also scan the 2-D barcodes on the back of their physical cards using the Gundam Cross War app to register their cards to their Bandai-Namco account to play online.

On July 7th, 2017 it was announced that Cross War would be ending service following the release of the final booster that October. The servers for the app shut down on December 31, 2017, but card errata and official in-store tournament support were still continued into March of 2018.
