godzilla (shin)
Also known as "Shin Godzilla". Lit. "True Godzilla".
The titular kaiju from Shin Godzilla who is a complete reimagination of the monster itself. Referred simply within the movie as "Godzilla".
This incarnation of Godzilla was born as a result of radiation from a classified nuclear waste dump site off the coast of Japan. As a result, the monster suffered from continuous and spontanous mutations akin to that of cancer cells, resulted in a constant pain. The monster mutated three times before ending up in this form.
