full metal panic! invisible victory

The 4th season of the Full Metal Panic! TV anime, often shortened to FMP! IV. It is the only season animated by XEBEC, and adapts volumes 7-9 of the original light novels. Unlike previous seasons, the mecha in IV are rendered in 3D, while human characters and environments are in traditional 2D.

The ARX-8 Laevatein makes it's TV debut in this series, although the unit and the season's events both made their Super Robot Wars debuts before the series aired, in Z3.
