Azur Lane's personification of the planned German Atlantic Large Cruiser Carrier (Grossflugzeugkreuzer) Project II, Fritz Rumey is a hybrid ship that combines features of a large cruiser and an aircraft carrier, she is equipped with battleship-caliber guns, the size of a large cruiser and a flight deck of an aircraft carrier, combined both air power and firepower within.
Her design may be inspired from Hildebrand from World of Warships. Hildebrand is an O-class Large Cruiser that shares design from the Grossflugzeugkreuzer Projekt.
