final destination (movie)

Final Destination is a Horror film series created by Jeffrey Reddick and developed by New Line Cinema. Each films follow a group of survivors who survive a horrific accident after one of them received a vision that shows their deaths of the incident and warn the others. Despite escaping their untimely demise, the survivors anger Death, which is portrayed as an unseen force, who despise those who cheat Death as it goes against the natural order and kills the survivors that were supposed to die horrifically. As they get killed one by one, the Survivors try to find a way to save themselves from Death's wrath.

As of 2025, there are currently six Final Destination movies including several novels and comics. Apart from "Death", the only other recurring character in the series is William Bludworth, a Funeral director who mysteriously knows, how and why Death is after the survivors while giving them advice on how to save their lives, who is played by the late Tony Todd.
