Father Ted was a British sitcom written by Irish writers that aired from 1995 to 1998.

The sitcom follows Father Ted Crilly, an Irish Catholic Priest who is sent to the fictional Craggy Island as punishment for embezzling money from the church. While at Craggy Island, Father Ted has to deal with a cast of crazy and weird locals and other Catholic Priests who live there.
