A multiplayer tactical first-person shooter with RPG and survival elements developed by Battlestate Games for Microsoft Windows, where the player assumes the role of a private military contractor working for one of two rival companies, the NATO-backed United Security (USEC) and the Russian-backed Battle Encounter Assault Regiment (BEAR), as they attempt to complete the titular objective of escaping the city of Tarkov in Russia.
It is set in the Russia.2028 universe, shared with Contract Wars.
