emeraude (rayearth)
In Magic Knight Rayearth, Emeraude is the princess and pillar of Cephiro who supports the world with her prayers. The High Priest Zagato sealed her away so her prayers won't support Cephiro, so the Magic Knights are summoned to rescue her.
Or so they thought. Their real duty is to kill Emeraude because she loved Zagato and couldn't focus on supporting Cephiro.
