eiji shinjo
The main hero of the Toushinden series but becomes an antagonist in Toshinden 4. Eiji is a hotheaded swordsman who has become infamous in the fighting world for his skill, despite his immaturity. He joins the tournament to find his older brother Sho Shinjo. Later, Eiji matures into an independent young man who can fend for himself against the toughest opponents, assisting in the downfall of the Himitsu Kessha's corrupt leaders.
Surprisingly, Eiji becomes the new head of the Himitsu Kessha, organizing the fourth tournament many years later to bring together the Four Divine Weapons. Subaru Shinjo is his nephew, who had joined the tournament to find Eiji.
