Mobile Suit Gundam: École du Ciel (機動戦士ガンダム エコール·デュ·シエル Kidou Senshi Gandamu Ekooru dyu Shieru) (lit. School Of The Sky) is a Gundam manga series written and illustrated by Mikimoto Haruhiko. It began serialization in 2001 Kadokawa Shoten's Gundam Ace but has been on hiatus since 2011. Up to 9 volumes were released in English by Tokyopop.
In the manga École du Ciel is the name of an Earth Federation military school for training future mobile suit pilots in Montréal, Canada. Unexpected events occur, exposing cadet Asuna Elmarit and her classmates to the reality that is war.
Ecole du Ciel is a spinoff story set in the Universal Century timeline, taking place before and during the events of Zeta Gundam. It is one of the few and earliest Gundam entries to feature a female protagonist.
